ROYAL AXA DAY CARE
As a child care center we are a community of children, parent(s)/guardian(s), and staff, interacting and sharing our lives together. Parents are involved in every process of helping their child develop while in our care. We recognize that parenting can be challenging so we constantly encourage parents to share their thoughts, hopes and dreams that they have for their child. We work primarily with parents to achieve the best care for each child. The Royal Axa Day Care encourages parents to find creative ways to interact with their children by reading books together, watching television shows, going for walks, and having conversations. It is fundamentally important that a parent has as much interaction with their child as anyone else who aids in their developmental processes. We believe that these times are the most important moments for child development.
We encourage parent(s)/guardian(s) to become involved with the day care from the moment they enroll their child. The Director/Supervisor
will walk with the parent(s)/guardian(s) through the facility allowing them to
aid their child in settling into a new environment. We encourage feedback through Parent Comment
Forms. At the Royal Axa Day Care we
attempt to provide parents with schedules of activities that their child will
be actively involved within the upcoming weeks.
Parent-staff communication is essential to helping your child’s development. The staff members are therefore required to share information about their child with their parent(s)/guardian(s) on a daily basis. This is done verbally and through writing (for record keeping purposes). We believe that if parents feel valued and supported, then they will in turn desire to give back to our daycare community by getting involved.
